Earth Science Education   XMission credit
ESE-logo

Earth Science Education uses local geology and geography to sustain and enhance children’s inherent interest in science.  We accomplish this by encouraging Utah teachers and others to go outside and explain the magnificent Earth science visible from their schools.

We accomplish our mission with a fine Board, volunteers, and minimal staff.

Individuals and organizations contribute to our success: Foundations (Quinney, Redd, Steiner); School Districts (Granite, Jordan, and Salt Lake); Industry (US Magnesium and Rio Tinto); Businesses (Intermountain Bobcat, Wheeler Machinery, and Xmission); and Associations (Utah Mining Association).
